About the Author
Born in Scotland and raised in Ontario, Canada, Jim Dyet graduate from Moody Bible Institute as Class President in 1957. He holds a B.A. degree in Religion from Houghton College, an M.A. in Theology, Th.D. in English Bible, and a D.Lit. from Louisiana Baptist University. He has also done graduate work at Indiana State University and The Denver Seminary.
Jim has written more than thirty Bible curriculum courses, hundreds of articles, and sixteen books. From 1971 until 2000, he held positions of Executive Editor and Managing Editor for Accent Publications, Youth and Adult Editor for Regular Baptist Press, and Managing Editor for Scripture Press (a division of Cook Communications Ministries). Jim currently mentors students in the craft of writing and speaks at area churches.
Jim and his wife Gloria have been married forty-six years and reside in Colorado Springs with their two dogs, Molly a Maltese and Rosie, a toy poodle. Their three adult children and two granddaughters live in Denver. |
