About the Author:
Karen H. Whiting, author of ten books, writes for women, families, and 'tween' girls. She has written more than 250 articles and writes a monthly family page for newspapers. She directs a teen puppet team and hosted the series, 'Puppets on Parade' for Miami public television. Karen speaks to Christian Women's Clubs, church groups and children's ministry conferences. She is a mentor for the Motivational Training Center, Professional Speaker's Network, and an online mother's group. Karen holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics. She and her husband, Jim, have five children. They are the south Florida area coordinators for Officer's Christian Fellowship.
