God has given us visible and tangible illustrations whereby He surrounds us with His wisdom for successful living and whereby messages of hope, help, and inspiration can be found. Joanne Taylor believes that what awaits us outside our front door is nearer to God than theology itself. There are secrets within nature many people don't recognize that teach us how to live, grow, and be wise. The garden is where human life is reflected, and A Down to Earth Bible Study presents many examples of this through principles of reaping and sowing, weathering storms, and basic plant growing principles that have many life applications.
While A Down to Earth Bible Study teaches basic growing principles for the gardener and presents day-to-day gardening tips, it is also a branch for spreading the good news of the gospel by using nature as the instructor. When these seeds of motivation fall on fertile ground, they will produce new growth that will blossom into a more fruitful and successful life.
Over the past decade, the return of personal gardening is blooming. Each of the twelve lessons of A Down to Earth Bible Study will provide the reader with the information, inspiration, and the motivation to reach down to earth and create wonderful gardens that will breathe life back into the earth, but more importantly, back into themselves. The twelve lessons in this Bible study are written in a format conducive to both group and personal study.
