The pages of Christian history have passed down a list of seven deadly vices that only serve to steal our life and our freedom. The list is familiar from literature and movies: anger, pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, and sloth. Often when we talk about these vices, we focus more on the bondage they lead to than on the hope of a different life. But God calls us to do more than simply avoid these sins. He calls us to be free.

The cry of Vice Versa is for us to break through from old to new and discover the virtues God wants us to put on as we put away our struggles, things like gentleness, humility, sacrifice, love, blessing, trust, and passion. We are new creations, and God wants to unlock the cages of sin we find ourselves in. The life of freedom is on the other side.
