The Lord Is My Shepherd, I Shall Not Be In Want...
Nearly half of all homes in the United States are single-parent families. Whether through death, divorce, or life choices, each situation has its own struggle. The Twenty-Third Psalm for the Single Parent
invites readers to rest in the knowledge that there is a Shepherd to guide them through the frustrations, fears, and loneliness often associated with single parenting and to assure them that they are not alone.
Each phrase of the 23rd Psalm becomes the subject for a topical chapter, addressing those who struggle as single parents. Fifteen true-life stories about single parents that encourage, inspire, bring hope, and draw the reader to God.
The Scriptures, accompanying quotations, and classic hymns show a relationship with the Shepherd can meet the needs of the single parent for care, provision, rest, peace, hope, direction, patience, courage, friendship, comfort, protection, healing, blessings, love, and joy.
