In the Presence of Grace

In the Presence of Grace is an anytime devotional designed to challenge readers to a renewed intimacy with God. With sparkling narratives, poignant stories, vivid characterization, and timeless wisdom, Lauren Myers brings the reader face-to-face with the spiritual realities of everyday life.

Disarmingly open about the difficulties faced by Christians and seekers alike, the book parallels God's work through the Bible with His dealings in the lives of believers today.  Using her storytelling prowess, Lauren brings unfamiliar Old Testament characters to life. One experiences heartfelt emotions as the drama of hope, death, and resurrection is re-enacted. Moses is portrayed as refreshingly human as he grudgingly accepts himself as God's best choice for Israel's deliverance.

Most importantly, there is a genuineness and power inherent in each page, a conviction born of personal experience in Lauren's walk with God through hard places.

The book concludes with an invitation to the reader to chronicle their journey to a new level of intimacy with God.

In the Presence of Grace truly offers words to grow by.
